Milestone: Zoe Faces Forward in the Car

Zoe's first day of facing forward in the car was Sunday, 3/3/13!  We were planning to hold out until she was officially two, but we also had ants in our pants.  It's a lot of fun to see Zoe's face in the mirror!  So far she's enjoying it, save for my apparent present fake-out (see video below).  Apparently Zoe understands what presents are, and also does not believe sitting face forward is a present.  When she calmed down, we had stunned silence for the rest of 10-minute ride to Target.
It's been a week of facing forward now, and Zoe's got the hang of it.  We have a lot of fun making faces at each other and singing Wiggles songs!
