On Tuesday, June 16th, 2015, our little Stella Penela turned one year old. It was a great day to celebrate, but also to remember the events that brought her into this world just one year before. Stella was lucky enough to have two celebrations for her first birthday -- one weekday cake and another on the weekend. Not that she knew yet what cake was :)
We celebrated with family and godparents and lots of presents that Zoe made sure to help open. Speaking of Zoe, she got two presents from Stella too. I think Stella's favorite part was getting as messy as possible with the icing. Speaking of messy, I don't think anyone will forget how Jidu did some tree pruning in our soggy backyard in his Ferragamo shoes.
