Having Fun in the Summer!

Hey Zozo fans, It's been a busy time for me and my entourage since Father's Day. Summer time is so much fun -- especially when I hang out with my grandparents. They let me poop on the floor and poke their dogs, it's awesome. But more on that later.

July 4th was spectacular. I spent five days in Point Pleasant Beach at my beach house...and I even invited my parents. There was a huge show of fireworks on July 4th in celebration of Auntie Alia's 26th birthday. I can't tell if fireworks are scary or cool; what do you think of them? I love to be frightened anyway, so I was totally mesmerized by the explosions in the night sky. I also love the beach, the boardwalk, the mint chocolate ice cream, the choo choo train ride and the 'rain room'! I'm also pretty awesome at skee ball -- I won a whistle!

A week later I joined Dad and Amu James for some fancy car driving. Auntie Rema bought them an opportunity to drive a Ferrari or a Lamborghini. Dad had a cool helmet, but I couldn't ride with him because there was no back seat! It's okay though, I had a good time hanging out with Mommy on the sidelines.

July 20th we took a long drive up to Cape Cod to Situ & Jidu's house. That is a longer trip than an episode of Yo Gabba Gabba! We spent 7 hours driving up there, but it was worth it. Skaket beach is awesome -- I got to do splashy splashy and I poked some hermit crabs. They didn't like it.

July 28th was Mommy's birthday! I love other people's birthdays because they're like extra birthdays for me. I got Mommy a book called 'Goodnight, iPad.' It's like my 'Goodnight, Moon' book, but for Mommies. Daddy also helped me with some arts and crafts -- Daddy put fabric paint all over my hands and I stamped them on a t-shirt for Mommy. I also ate some of it -- the glitter in the paint was crunchy.

August 3rd we dropped by Daddy's office before we went back in the car to Cape Cod. More splashy splashy! This time Mom and Dad left me with Situ for the whole week. I had a great week of playing at the beach, in my kiddie pool and at the playground, and Situ fed me fresh food every day. I had a great time playing with my cousins Malak and Kamal, too! Mom and Dad came back on the 10th; I missed them, but only a little. It's fun with Situ!

August 19th it was back to Point Pleasant, NJ. My beach house there is only a nap's length away. Amu James joined us, and we smashed some sand castles on the Jersey Shore. I also discovered Froz Fruit popsicles -- they are almost as delicious as the rocks and seaweed I keep putting in my mouth.

So there's my last 6 weeks in a nutshell. I'm also about 30 inches tall, 23 pounds, and a blondie. My hair's coming in much faster now, and my feet are moving even faster. I can climb and jump, and I understand basic commands about sharing, just don't ask me if you can have some of my apple. By the way, I can say apple, bye, hi, bubbles, go, and no (among other words in my own language).

 Next week it's back to Cape Cod -- Splashy Splashy!!!
